Philadelphia Wings lose Todd Evans in Expansion Draft

The Albany Attack selected Todd Evans from the Philadelphia Wings in Wednesday's expansion draft. Evans, 24, was drafted by the Wings in the 1998 entry draft from the University of Maryland. He did not play in any games for the Wings in 1998.

The Attack selected six other players in the draft, including Josh Sanderson (from the Rochester Knighthawks), son of Attack head coach Terry Sanderson. The remaining players selected were:

Troy Cordingley, Buffalo Bandits

Steve Sombrotto, New York Saints

David Evans, Pittsburgh

Owen Benedict, Syracuse Smash
