The Wings got a staggering 51 saves from goalie Dallas Eliuk last night to beat the New York Saints, 17-11, in front of 5,618 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.
The Wings improved to 4-1 in the National Lacrosse League as Jason Clark and Kevin Finneran scored hat tricks in support of Eliuk. The Saints fell to 2-4.
Finneran, in his record-setting 100th consecutive game, led the Wings with eight points, adding five assists to his three goals.
