As I said before the first game of the season, if ted trusted phil in ney, so do I, Ted got the right guy in there, instead of wasting more money on a guy who has his 5 whole open like a barn door. Just a few notes on the almost 25% of season so far.
1. Phil Wetherup is a good enough goalie and may be the key to winning
2. This team has so many weapons now, no one can stop them, Tavares is same old, Accursi is going to have his best season ever, we now have a healthy Shawn Williams (almost 6 goals per game)Ryan Powell also keeps the defense even more on their guard.
3. Second year players Maddalena and Sweet. From what I see in the paper and hear, these two are playing great and getting better every game, especially Pat.
4. The defense is making enough plays to keep any other offense from scoring as much as the bandits. They play ok, but with the run and gun style buffalo plays.
5. Wait till Driscoll comes back healthy.
6. Where's Chris Prat, if we had him too, the Bandits would average 25 a game instead of about 23, not that it really matters, but would be nice.
