Attention All Fann Cup Players!

I spoke to Chad Richardson (Toronto Rock PR guys) today concerning the Fann Cup. We initially spoke about this last year before the semi-finals about having a Fann Cup Grudge Match at the ACC either before a game or during half-time. He is aware of who won, and he has taken into account the fact that we (Toronto) lost in a shoot-out and is still willing to have a Fann Cup grudge match.

I mentioned Knabber's plans (BCA/Labatts) to him and he seemed to perk up a little. I think he's starting to realise that this could be really big if handled right.

As it stands right now, he's out in Ottawa, running the Renegades PR full time, and the Rock on the side, but that'll shift once December hits. With the way things are looking now, we'll be seeing each other at least 10 times this season, with BUF, ROC, TOR and PHI all playing 4 games against each other in divisional play. That means that each team is in Toronto twice, meaning we have six opportunities to get together and play, dependent upon when Chad wants to schedule it.

What I'd like is to get a general impression of how many Fann Cup players would be interested in participating either as a half-time mini-game or a pre-game event in a Fann Cup Grudge Match at the Air Canada Centre when your team comes to town.

Please, if you're interested, sign in, indicate which team you played for and indicate your preference for either 1)pre-game, an hour or so before the game, or 2)during half-time. Obviously, seeing as Toronto would be hosting at the ACC, we would HAVE to field a team (how embarassing would it be to have the Fann Cup Grudge Match cancelled because there were too many wusses on the Roadies who were afraid to play in front of a crowd...man, that would suck!) and whoever confirmed enough in advance from any of the opposing teams would be our opposition. Whoever confirms with the most number of players would help us push Chad (not WFINY, the Rock PR guy) into picking the right game...

Thanks, guys.

Let's make this happen! :D

Please sign in the thread in the Fann Cup forum and indicate whether you would prefer:
1) Before the game, or
2) At half time.
Thanx
