I was just looking over the schedules of the philly teams and I noticed that UPenn and Drexel don't play each other. I wonder why this is. st.joe's plays nova, penn, and drexel. and nova plays against all 3 too. It's a shame that the 2 best in the city this year don't square off to see who can claim the philly title.

laxboy, unless they fall to villanova tonight, i'd say uPenn is definitely the best team in philadelphia. they absolutely annihilated st.joe's by a score of 25-6, while drexel squeaked by them by one goal. i do agree that all the teams should play each other.
drexel has had a nice 2nd season under head coach bates, keeping close to #9 powerhouse duke, score of 10-5
and nova kept it even closer in loss to #4 johns hopkins by score of 11-7
Quakers are the best team in town!!

great idea - tell you what we should do, i'll emai drexel's bates w/ the idea and everybody else email their alma mater and maybe we can get a philly cup.
drexel played tough @ udel but getting smoked by hofstra & towson - boy are they on a tear, potential final four perhaps - that crushed their hopes after such a great promising start.

Nova, Penn, Drexel, and St. Joe's were mentioned, so, are they all NCAA level?
Does Lasalle have a lacrosse team at the same level as those mentioned?
I go to Temple, and I'm pretty sure lacrosse is only a club sport there.
I do agree that all the College lacrosse teams in Philly that play in the NCAA should play each other
