a pair of drexel dragons were inducted into the pennsylvania lacrosse hall of fame, i have know idea where the hall is, and one of them, dennis fink, got noticed by sports illustrated in 1978!!

<<Dennis Fink (1976-78) and Lee Stevens (1971-72) were among recent inductees into the Pennsylvania Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Fink, “a truly great player”, was one of coach Stu Brown’s first Springfield Athlectic Association players to go on to gain acclaim in college lacrosse. As a high school student, Dennis played for the Springfield A.A team from 1971-74. He began his collegiate career at Lebanon Valley College in 1975 before transferring to Drexel University in 1976. At Drexel, Dennis led his team to the1978 East Coast Conference Championship and was the team's leading scorer and MVP in both 1976 and 1978. He was a three-time First Team All-ECC performer (‘76, ‘77, ‘78), and in 1978, he was an Honorable Mention All American selection and played in the North-South All-Star Game. For his collegiate accomplishments, Fink appeared in Sports Illustrated’s "Faces in the Crowd" in May ‘78. He maintains Drexel single-game records for assists (nine versus FDU-Madison) and points (13 versus FDU-Madison and Mount St. Mary’s) and is the Drexel record holder for assists in a season (63, 1978). Third on the Dragons’ all-time point list (206), he is the program’s all-time assist leader (126) and tallied 80 goals in his career. >>

he might be the only dragon ever to gotten any recognition by sports illustrated for anything.
