Just a thought, anyone up for tailgating before the bus leaves on Sunday April 1? If the weather is nice, it might be fun to break out a grill etc for a few hours before the bus leaves at 3. Only problem I have is there is no way to lock up my grill....anyone have a truck with a cap?

I am in for the tailgate. Was thinking of just staying at Holiday in after the game the night before and then hanging out at legends for the bus after sleeping thru the AM. But where there may be beer there may be a Pimp Daddy.

If anyone has shot glasses, I have a bottle of whiskey.

Uh, I mean half a bottle of whiskey.

I will bring a couple of glasses. What kind of whiskey? I can bring Jack. Although word on the street is the "Bug Spray" record is going to be challenged so I don't know how much whiskey should be drunk. Oh wait, yes I do, just enough to empty the bottle. I am also bringing a case of Yeungling and a case of Smirnoff Ice. So there may be a beverage or two aboard the bus.

Chasmo, to answer your question, I have a half bottle of Jameson, but it might just be a 1/4 bottle by then since I still have a weekend to go before the trip.

I'll try to rustle up some alternative sources of alcohol, but it looks like we'll already be stocked full of Yeungling. Then again, another case or two couldn't hurt.

Always remember and never forget, the worst phrase ever uttered in English is "We're out of beer."

Hey, Chad,

Not quite sure how to take the comment. Is it an insult or a compliment? On second thought, do I REALLY WANT to know?

sooooo
I guess people want to tailgate eh?
We need to decide on a time....I'm thinking noonish

We will need food, etc and a grill. I have a grill but no way to keep it secure while we are gone. I'll think during the week if nobody else has an idea. I'll bring some sausages and naturally....BEER!

Will we get in trouble for partying in the hotel parking lot?
lets start organizing, the day is coming fast!

noonish sounds good, everyone should be sober by then(oh wait forget that http://www.wingszone.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif )

If you figure out how to get your grill locked up I'll bring the burgers and pepsi. Hey some of us we'll have to sober up quick after the game.

I'll add a case of a variety of beers. How's that for a crowd pleaser? Also, plenty of peeps to go along w/Lola's. I'm sure I'll have some eats on hand too. Anything else?

EJM

I'll get a couple bags of chips (any flavor requests are welcome) to go with the sausage

A fresh bottle of whiskey (funny thing, one freind from the Navy shows up for the weekend and all the booze disappears. Although, I can't actually guarantee I will be able to get my hands on one.)

Some plastic cups.

And if I have any money left over, more Peeps!

Alright, I won't bring any extras, I doubt if I would have had the money anyway.

Does anyone know if it's supposed to rain on Sunday?

This morning's forcast said rain & wind on Sunday. However, I don't think that will deter Wings fans from partying it up. Hey, do you think the hotel would be upset if we set up our festivities under the carport by the main entrance to the hotel? (LOL). We'll find a way to MAKE it happen.

BTW: gmbjr......has anyone actually told you yet.......GREAT IDEA for this "little" party!

I have installed an eyebolt to chain my grill to in the bed .....

My tank weighed 30 lbs so it should be nearly full, however just for ha-has maybe someone can toss a tank in their trunk?

I have some braunswurst & Bratwurst, rolls & mustard.

BTW, if you can bring utensils that would be great roamin....I gotta get a brush the old one's shot. I'll do that in morning.

I also have Yuenglings

Hope the weather holds!!

aaanyone else, just bring whatever you'd like if your coming....scan the thread if you'd like to see whats on the way, but usually you can never have enough food. 1 thought though, chicken WINGS are ok but large pieces can take awhile to cook.....just a tip.

dont be shy, stop on by!
