For those of you who aren't able to get a seat on the PWFC bus(es), & will be driving to DC:
The rate to park in the garage at MCI Center is $20; I only paid that because I got to the arena a few minutes before face-off of the Power / Saints game (fortunately, while waiting in line at the arena box office, I was given a comp ticket for a first-level seat just 12 rows from the floor, which was more than adequate compensation).
I was later informed by TazWolf & fragilelady, who were there with another Wings' fan, that they parked outside of Washington & took the Metro in to the vicinity of MCI Ctr., presumably saving them money & the aggravation of driving around downtown DC.

Here is a link to information about getting to Metro stations outside of Washington, DC:

http://www.wmata.com/metrorail/DRIVE.HTM

There should be information concerning fares, schedules, etc. on other pages of the website.

I'm hoping to be on one of the PWFC buses, but I'll do that if things don't work out.

PWFC is probably buying a block of tickets at a group rate & selling them, but if you need a ticket:

Power game ticket prices (from the Power schedule brochure): $35 (Preferred Club & Center Seats), $25 (Loge / End Zone Preferred), $15 (Mezzanine Sides), $10 (Mezzanine Ends)

MCI Center Website - http://www.mcicenter.com

Hope this helps.

As a followup to this message, there is another parking option in DC should you choose to drive into town. There is metered parking on the streets in downtown DC near the arena, and I believe the meters aren't in effect on Sundays. So if you're lucky enough to find a spot around the arena (as I was a few weeks ago), this could be a way to go. If you don't feel like trying your luck, another option is to park in the Mall area where all of the Smithsonian museums are. It's about a 6 block walk up 7th Ave. from the Mall to the Arena, but it's not that bad. I have also done this in the past and it works fine.

RickH: Thanks for the additional information concerning parking in DC; I hadn't been in downtown DC for like 11 years, & didn't feel that I had time to scout the area out, so I wasn't aware of the parking situation in the arena's vicinity.

The best route is I-95 South, at the Capital Beltway bear left (still on 95) and get off at the Greenbelt Metro Stop exit (the exit is dedicated to the Metro stop) and take the Metro to Gallery Place (the stop could also be called MCI center because all u have to do is walk around the corner and you are there). $4.20 round trip.

PhnxvleWingsfan....If you or anyone else is attending tonights game, go to the fan club table (by the Comcast Sportscenter window) not sure if Eric has anymore room or not, it was first come forst serve.. Total price for bus/arena ticket is $45, and he wants cash tonight. he told me if I have any problems with money,( tax refund should be here today) he would try to work it out. I also guess tonight we should find out what time the bus is leaving and were we should park our cars. Look for Hollywood to have a monsterous game tonight!! WINGS 22--Saints-11
