Hey everyone, just thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Chris, and I am 15 years old from Johnston, Rhode Island. I have never played lacrosse outside of gym class, and never really followed the sport that much, but I have always been interested in the game and am ecstatic about having an indoor team in Boston.
To me it seems like the indoor game is more exciting, with the fighting and the hits.
I am also a season ticket holder to the Providence Bruins of the AHL, so I may not be able to make it to Boston for every game, but I am going to try for atleast half.

Welcome to the boards, Chris.
Yes, NLL indoor lacrosse is a lot more exciting than field lacrosse. A lot more fast paced and hard hitting.
You're in for a treat when you see your first indoor game live.

Hey Chris, a big hello from Burlington, Ontario. I am sure that you will be hooked on the NLL the first time you see it live. You have to see it live to love it. I am into both field and box lax, but I prefer box - even more than hockey!!!!!!!! Yikes that's coming from a Touque and lumber jack coat wearing Canuck, So you know it's gotta be the best sport around. ( I could be rounded up and shot up here for telling you all this). :)

Welcome, Chris. Everyone else here is right--attend one game in person and you'll wonder how you ever lived without indoor lacrosse.
I had my "conversion" in 2004, when my wife and I moved to Rochester, and we were instantly hooked. We're season ticket holders, and we were at every home game this season. Last night we visited the cup at a local bar and had a great time exchanging stories with people we'd never met.
I was a diehard NFL fan since I was a little kid, but in my opinion even live NFL games don't come close to the NLL for sheer fun.
You're gonna love this sport.

hey chris...if you can feel the enthusiasm from all these comments regarding the thrill of watching the game, try playing in the box;get your adrenalin running high, make a crushing legal hit in the boards, and score on a goalie bigger then the goal itself.take it from a grandfather who still loves to run with the young bucks.welcome...enjoy the game and respect the game as well ;)
