slowing down a bit but he & hanford will give the storm the best faceoff 1-2 punch in the nll. i'm surprised that washington released him because as i recall he was a free agent during the summer only to be resigned to be cut. a tad confused tis i.

I have heard that a new rule has come in place that once you are released teams only have 72 hours to pick you up. Also teams that are interested have to wait in line. It is done like a draft pick. First team decides if they want you or not and then it just makes it's way along the line. I too was a bit confuse as to why Washington would sign a guy fly him to Vancouver for pre-season games and then release the guy right before your first game.

Hopefully a team picks up Tapp he is a good draw man and would be an assest as a Vet to an expansion team.

Tapp was signed by the Storm, and hopefully he'll be ready within the next week or 2. Great pick up for us, as Doug has previously mentioned, Tapp and Hanford would be the best 1-2 faceoff punch in the league.

The seven-year veteran did not play for the Power in its opening-game loss at Buffalo on Saturday night. Last season, Tapp shared faceoff duties with Paul Cantabene, winning 125 of 238 draws.
