Just wondering....

I'm new to the NCAA circuit. Going to school in Princeton now I was looking forward to the lacrosse season to start up here. But, I'm reading some animosity towards the Tigers. Could someone fill me in on the history? Thanks.

I don't think anyone on this site hates Princeton. If you are referring to my post, I am just a big JHU fan and they happen to be playing Princeton 2 weeks ago. I was happy that JHU beat them because they were last years champions and picked #1 in the preseason poll. There was some ?'s about them being the #1 pick due to the fact that they lost key senior players. But I cheered for Princeton last year in the finals. I certainly don't hate them. Josh Simms and Trevor Teirney were 2 of my favorite players that had been with Princeton.

princeton has been remarkable in the '90's playing a style of lacrosse that few teams can counter. they pass, and pass and pass until they wear you down and then **bang** goal. then you add an noncompromsing defense and you can see why they have won so many cups. but this year's tigers never should had been given the pre-season #1 pick, heck they are not even the best team in the ivy league, and this is what hopkins & i can't believe.
