Why: "Battle For #1"-Syracuse vrs John Hopkins.
Once again, I will be "opening" up the chat room this Saturday afternoon for some lacrosse talk action while the games are going on. And it doesn't get better than #1 Syracuse Orangeman going into Homewood Field to battle the #2 John Hopkins Blue Jays. Game time is 1:00 pm ET and here are the details on the internet broadcasts:
Syracuse: You have a choice of two broadcasts: ESPN Radio 1260 AM (http://www.suathletics.com) or WAER 88.3 FM (http://www.syracuse.com/waer/orangesports/index_lax.ssf) Pregame shows: WAER starts at 12:30 pm ET while ESPN Radio doesn't begin until 12:45 pm ET.
John Hopkins: There should be a link (come Saturday) to their radio broadcast somewhere on their front page of their athletics website (http://www.hopkinssports.com) If not click on audio/video on the left hand side and then go on from there. I think their pre-game show starts around 12:45 pm ET. The game will be airing LIVE on WMAR-TV Channel 2 and you can sometimes access the station via http://www.insidebaltimore.com/
Just go video then WMAR LIVE and you should be ok. (Note: If anyone is taping the game, I wouldn't mind a copy, email me at laxbandit@wzrd.com)
Prediction: Syracuse 15 John Hopkins 13. (You thought I was going to pick Hopkins? LOL!) Mike Powell leads the way with five goals.
