The Toronto Beaches are making some noise this year in the OLA Junior A League, currently standing in a tie for second place with the Peterborough Lakers, two points behind the first place St. Catharines Athletics. It would be nice to see some of the thousands of Rock fans make the trip down to Ted Reeve Arena (Main Street and Gerrard - a five minute walk from the Main Street subway station), affectionately known as the Sand Box, to catch a game. Tickets are a bargain at $5 for adults, $2 for students , $1 for children 7-12 and FREE for all others . Enjoy a cold beer while watching the game in the licensed booster club with a full view of the action! Games are every Monday night at 8 p.m. until July 8 (except for July 1), with games at the same time on Thursday July 4 and Friday July 5.

Hope to see you there.

OK all you Rock fans west of Toronto, here's the score:

I'm not trying to steal your thunder laxdaddio, but the Beaches is a bit of a haul for some of us living in Mississauga, so there's an alternative or two out here...

The Missisauga Tomahawks are making some noise in the OLA Junior A ranks too. They just happen to be slow starters...relly slow starters.

Come watch Anthony Cosmo's young brother David play for the Tomahawks on June 11th, 18th, 28th, July 5th, 9th and 12th at the Port Credit Arena, affectionately known as "The Barn". Game starts are all 8:00PM, unless the refs are late like they were in Burlington last Sunday for the Jr A game.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for students, $1 for kiddies, and there is cold beer ($3 per brown pop) a 50/50 draw, a raffle for a lax stick and a few golf clubs, and hot popcorn...

Hope to see all of you that can make it! :D
