Vin,
Did you get the picture's I emailed you ok?
Thanks! In fact, I was trying to edit it to attach "names" with faces. I will then try and post it to our site.
Thanks again for doing that.

Thinking of having a meeting Wednesday, January 8th or Thursday, January 9th. Thoughts anyone?

Why has this forum gone so dead?

It's been tough to schedule meetings when there's been games all the time and through holidays and such.... so there really hasn't been a good time for everyone to meet.... among other things.... we're still there... no worries

Well, I will give you guys this: you are way more organized than the Roadies ever will be...we have plenty of members, but we never have meetings, unless you count pre-game and post-game parties. Even then, the Eastern fans and the Western fans usually end up separated... It's hard to do when there are divisions amongst the fans because of geography (half of us root for Brooklin in the summer, the other half for Brampton...its' tough)...

Don't let the fan club die! It was great to meat the Albany fans at Fann Cup...I think you guys were the best on the floor (almost...)

Meathead, I think for the most part the fan club has died with the team. There are only a few of us that I see around. I haven't heard from our president/secretary in a while. I haven't heard from Vin in a while either. I hope next time my brother a I will be able to put together a team from Albany, but if not we will gladly play with the Krewhawks again. I'm thinking we will come out to Rochester when they play the Rock this season and hang out with you guys. I taped most of the MLL games on ESPN2 this summer and watched them. I still have to watch the championship game though.

I'd be glad to see you folks in Rochester this winter, and at the next Fann cup. Do make the trip(s?) if you can.
Sorry...
Well, yeah, we're dead in principle I guess...
At the webpage (shameless plug) www.albanyattackpack.com
I put up a poll about who Albany fans would support. I still haven't voted (and am leaving the poll up) until the SJ people get a name for that team. After that, I can determine my loyalties for the following season. (Right now, I'm leaning toward ROC, but, somehow, that seems like sleeping with Satan!)
Assuming I am a Bay Area fan, I'd be a member of their fan club. So, as for this forum, I wouldn't mind it if it eventually became a San Jose / Bay Area Fan Club forum.
I've got my cousin living in the Bay Area and have been shamelessly plugging NLL to him the entire offseason so he and his kids and friends will go and support the team. Maybe that would help with a club fan base and/or he could formally start one...
Chad, I didn't forget about the tape.
Chad, if you wanna go to ROC, BUF, or PHI, I'll be up for it. Maybe even TOR.

Hey Vin and Chad,
Keith and I would be up for road trips. I will be in Phoenix in Feb, and will get to see the Sting play the Storm. Already have the tickets.
Look forward to hearing from you guys!

My sincere wish is for you all of the Attack Pack to be able to rally around the TV's at Jillians on Saturday nights and see the best NLL players playing on Fox Sports Net sometime this winter.
Whereever you go for a game, make sure to wear your Albany Attack jerseys proud. I fear the day when Rochester won't afford to be in the NLL anymore and we would lose our team as well.
We are barely above water even with pretty good crowds. I think we'll be fine.
Hey, I hope to see some of you this winter down in wee old Rochesterville. (not the apartment complex)

The memory of the Attack was kept alive in some arenas in Ontario this summer. The Senior B Owen Sound Woodsmen had five Attack players. Goalies Rob Blasdell and Jake Henhawk had their Attack colored equipment on and Bryan Kazarian and Mark Cochrane were wearing blue helmets with the Attack logo on them. Jamie Grimoldby had blue gloves on. There were a handful of fans with Attack t's on, and I wore my Attack jersey to most of those games.

... I just bought my Albany Attack jersey and plan to wear it to the season opener on January 10th... Updating the Attack Pack fans on things, there are no broadcast arrangements that have been made public by the team yet. In the interim, I'm working hard to set up some manner of webcast...
Also, I'm building up the San Jose Stealth Fan Club out west but want to keep the spirit and flavor of Albany going if possible. Will any of you be making the Rochester game in February? Also, I will do what I can to keep you all in the loop on the team -- if you ever need anything from us, just let me know and I'll take care of it... (of course, if you say you need a new team, I'll be hurt... )
Lastly, I'm working on the newsletter which I will make available to all Attack Packers once I've finished it. I have plans to publish one for every home game plus at least one playoff issue, then once per month in the off-season unless something earth-shattering happens. Again, I'll keep you posted....
Please don't look at this as me (a San Jose Stealth fan) trying to come in and take over -- your team has just relocated but it's still very much your squad and when they win the Champions' Cup this season, I'll be the first person to push the ownership to bring it by Albany during the victory lap...
Here's to a great, great season!

1) I'm surprised that you were able to buy a jersey. Did you actually have it? (If not, when are you expecting it?) Where did you get it? Did you get a home (white) or away (dark) jersey?
2) I can't speak for others, but I personally don't feel bothered by your exuberance. I don't believe that the others are either. We were a small group and only about 40% were NLLMB board members.
3) I wish I could get my cousin more involved. He lives in Walnut Creek and his father's birthday is Jan 10! My uncle lives in Washintgon state though, but I was hoping he'd come down and see the opener game with my cousin on his birthday.
4) As for ROC game, I'd love to go, but things are up in the air with me in terms of time and money, so, right now, it is hard to commit. Still, I'd love to go.

Knabber,
I think my brother and I would like to come out when you guys play the Rock. So please let me know about tickets. I promise I won't cheer for the Rock! We can come out early since its a Saturday, so try to set up a game with the Roadies, but tell Gonzo to lay off the smokes and beer! I don't want him getting out of breath again!! and blowing easy goals!!. Jean plan on going to this game. It would be good to see you guys again! It would be great if yo could come too Vin!!
