New gait Helmet

Has anyone seen the new gait helmet? I ran across it at GBlax.com with UVA decals congratulating the theam for a perfect season. This thing is sweet looking. Very futuristic.

This must be the helmet UVA is wearing in 2007, I didn't see anyone wearing these during Championship weekend.

UVA was however wearing the Gait helmet so the new version made by Identity Helmets (aka Gait) would be a great way to introduce a new design on the National Champions.



Do any of the World Field teams wear the Gait Field Helmet? I know Cascade has Team USA, but I don't know about Team Canada or any of the others.

Knabber da might try one of these Identity Helmets if they are customizable like the Cascades

I don't think any of the World teams wear them. I think Canada also wears the Cascade. I know the World box teams were wearing the Gait box helmet. mayber gary gait will get these in. I heard they will be for sale in the fall, right now only the prototypes are out.

Gait really missed the boat this year in minor box in Ontario. Last year I bought my team the box helmets. This year I was going to do the same but couldn't buy them. I even have a kid waiting to get a new cage as his fell apart before the end of last year. Next year I will go with Bauer or dare I say it....Reebok.. They had a good helmet that all kids liked... Too bad.. It would also be nice if someone there at Gait could answer e-mails.. Only sent about a dozen since April.

I like that Cascade helmets are made close by in Liverpool NY. Where are Gait helmets manufactured? It seems their parent company head quarters are or used to be in Albany NY, but are they manufactured here or in China?

I would prefer not to buy imports unless it is Molson Canadian. mmmmm!
