I do a crap-load of GDT's on the Sabres forum, and it's tradition to do it the night before to keep all game related posts wrangled together

Its just to get people pumped for the game. Now you wouldn't understand that, considering you are a Wings fan, and there is nothing to get excited for.

Make sure you get your dogs before you go to your seat, because I know you don't like walking up and down those stairs.

It's also a hallway I have to walk down as well. Going from the ground level to the box level is a pain in the ***! There are 2 checkpoints where they check your tickets every time you walk by.

We should wait until the day of the game to do these. I would have liked to continue posting the "Game Night: Bandits at TBA..."

The Bandits have a great pre game write up before every game, and include stats, and milestones for career and season stats.

Since I started the last two, I was hoping to continue it for the season. If not, it's no big deal I guess.

Bucktooth of course is out for the year.

What's the latest on McCready? Is he at least planning on returning for the second half of the season?

If feel bad for Bucktooth. Such an exciting player who's had some spectacular goals. The guy is really fun to watch. He also is a very good looking Native guy; rather marketable.

Sadly, much of this guy's short career has been injury prone. I'd hat to think that he might miss a chance at the NLL HOF due to a shortened career.

I'm currently working third shift. I wake up around 11:30 PM to be in my lab at 1:00 AM. I then gotta stay in the lab until 10:00 AM when my "work day" starts. I drive over to my office and am there until about 2:00 PM. What can I do to stay awake for tonight's big game on NLL Network and not be wiped out in the morning? Any ideas? (Chances are I that I have to be in the lab at 4:00 AM Saturday.)

I'm a big fan of Red Bull. It keeps me awake without being jittery or wired, or crashing too hard.

Why not take a nap when you get home after 2pm. Wake up @ 8 to see the game, then take another nap after the game before getting up to go to the lap

THE LAST TIME...
Buffalo opened the season against Philadelphia on January 3 with a 15-11 victory. Here are a few notes from the last meeting:
Philadelphia opened the scoring, they are the only team to score first against the Bandits this year.
Philadelphia won 27 of 30 face offs. Since then Buffalo has won 51-99 face offs.
The Bandits out shot the Wings 49 to 43.
Buffalo outscored Philadelphia 7-2 in the second and third quarter.
Mark Steenhuis had a game-high 8 points (4+4).

WELCOME BACK
Captain Rich Kilgour returned to the Bandits after missing the first four games of the season with an elbow injury. The defenseman collected one assist and two loose balls in his first appearance of the season. He currently has 316 career points (94+222), all with the Bandits. *

PUTTING UP A WALL
For the first time since the first week of the season a Bandits goaltender was not named defensive player of the week. However, for the fourth-straight week the Bandits held their opponent to under 10 goals. Ken Montour turned away 47 shots last week in Edmonton to earn his third victory of the season. It was the first game of the year that Montour allowed over six goals. He remains the league leader with a 6.67 GAA and .870 save percentage. Mike Thompson is currently fourth in the NLL with an .818 save percentage and ninth with a 10.00 GAA.

ROAD WARRIORS
Tonight is Buffalo's third and final game of a season long road trip as the Bandits have not played at HSBC Arena since January 16. Buffalo is currently 2-0 on the road trip and have outscored their opponents 23-17 entering tonight's game. Buffalo will play four more road games this season but none come in consecutive weeks.
