Default Ogilvie vs. O'Brien!

I'd pay to see this matchup. It'd be EPIC!

Wow, Ogilvie is taking it in a landslide. I guess fracturing a man's skull with your fist just gets you a reputation that you never lose.

Well I think part of it is that O'Brien was a terrible lacrosse player with great fighting skills and Ogilvie was a great lacrosse player with great fighting skills. Even thoughit is supposed to be strickly about fighting, many people don't separate the two. Tim was probably the better fighter, but Andy was damn scary too!

Ogilvie is a helluva fighter and probably throws a harder punch. On the other side, O'Brien is damned good at not getting hit.

I'd bet on O'Brien for the fight.

Oggie would destroy him. Tim O never went buckets with him (plenty of opportunity) for a reason. RESPECT. Maybe the Insider should hold a NLL Fight Card Night MMA style as a halftime show. Invite them all. No Rules.
Winner gets Kloeffers job.

Really?

NLL - O'Brien only got significant minutes in the '05 season. I'm not even positive Ogilvie played in any of the same games as O'Brien that season.

CLA - Can't remember them meeting in a Mann, can't remember them playing on opposing teams in either BC or Ontario leagues the same summer.

So, when?

I really can't see O'Brien turning down a fight unless the coach told him not to go. If you ever talked to him he was a student of fighting. He would watch hours and hours of fights on video tapes. He was even getting tape on Snider during the last year he played for the Rock but the fight never happened.

Either that, or O'Brien was dressed, but the way the game went he didn't get enough floor time to start the fight.

Whatever. I picked my winner, someone else picked theirs. Just wish we fans actually got a chance to see this one happen.

While O'Brien served a purpose in his stint with the Rock I don't think he'd be much of an opponent for Ogilvie. Several years ago I watched Ogilvie crack some guys skull and break his own hand in the process it was against NY and this guy was much bigger than O'Brien.

He put Forbes down with one punch also.

Olgie had lots of injuries at the end that reduced his playing time.
